Easter Activities

Children have enjoyed taking part in lots of lovely Easter activities, including arts & crafts, egg hunts, baking, card making, sensory activities, songs and talking about the Easter Story.

Easter Disco

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Easter Discos, it was lovely to see our families having fun and enjoying some tunes!

Easter Colouring Competition

Thank you to our PTFA, Friends of Haughton School, for organising our Easter colouring competition.  There were lots of fantastic entries and they look beautiful and bright in our front school window.

Everyone who entered received a little Easter treat and a certificate and the winners received an Easter egg.  Well done everyone!

Easter Fundraising

Thank you to our PTFA, Friends of Haughton School, for organising the raffle/guess the number of eggs in the jar and thank you to everyone who bought tickets/had a go.

Congratulations to River from Class 8 and his family who won the giant egg and to Thomas from Badgers and his family for correctly guessing the number of eggs in the jar.

Well done to our other raffle winners too - we hope you all enjoy your Easter eggs!

There were 410 eggs in the jar!

Easter Assembly

In our Easter assembly we enjoyed preparing for Easter. Mrs Williams gave out the certificates for the Easter colouring competition.  The younger children practised bunny moves and the older children watched a clip about the Christian story of Easter.

All the children were excited when the Easter bunny arrived at the end of the assembly to hand out chocolate eggs! (kindly donated by Magna).

The Easter Bunny visited our Haughton Hubs

Here's the Easter Bunny hopping out of school on his way to visit some of our Hub children!  They were very excited and surprised to see him and receive their Easter eggs!

Thank you Magna Foods

We would like to say a huge thank you to Magna Foods for their generous donation of Easter eggs for our raffle and for the Easter bunny to give out to the children.

Jason and Jenson enjoyed visiting Magna to collect the eggs and say thank you.
