Residential Visit 2

Before setting off, children visited Tesco to choose and buy supplies for their meals away.

When they arrived, they were full of excitement and eager to explore their new surroundings.

Throughout their stay the children took part in a range of fun and engaging activities.

They enjoyed pond dipping and identified lots of interesting creatures.

Soft archery was a bit hit - the children all did really well!

Children especially enjoyed meeting all the animals - chickens, goats and rabbits.

In the forest, children enjoyed some walks and made some dens for the forest mini beasts that they found.

They took part in a blindfold challenge, with the children helping each other to make it around the course.

The children also collected soil from mole hills and planted flowers.

On their final day, children visited the animals again and gave them their breakfast. They had go at using a flint and steel to make a spark. They then used this new skill to light a piece of cotton wool. The children all showed fantastic determination and didn't give up.

During their holiday, the children enjoyed preparing and cooking all their meals.

It was a brilliant few days away - all the children were fantastic and made us very proud!
