Class 10 and Class 14 enjoyed a trip to Preston Montford. We took it in turns to do pond dipping and climbing activities. Down at the pond we used nets to scoop our pond-dwelling creatures before transferring them into trays of water to make sure they stayed alive while we looked at them. The children enjoyed looking at all the different creatures and were particularly taken by the stickleback fish they caught! At the climbing wall, the children took it in turns in small groups to test their bravery and climb as high as they could on the climbing rock. All the adults were so impressed with the children’s individual achievements. The children also enjoyed exploring the traverse climbing wall that saw them climbing sideways with no harness!
Mr Bradney, Miss Howard and all the adults on the trip were so proud of how sensible all the children were, especially in the hot weather!
